Hindu festivals & events in Cambridge

Cambridge has a large and fast-growing Hindu community — and no Hindu temple. The nearest mandir is over 25 miles away, so families here celebrate Diwali, Navratri, Ganesh Chaturthi and Holi in hired halls and community centres, organised by volunteers. A campaign led by Hindu Samaj Northstowe, a registered charity, is working to change that and secure a permanent mandir for Cambridgeshire. Cambridge needs a temple; until it has one, this page gathers the festival events happening across the city in one place, so nobody has to miss out simply because the information was scattered.
